Pricing lives on the Costing section of the itinerary builder. The most important thing to understand: almost none of it is visible to the client.
What does the client actually see?
Supplier costs, markups and the full breakdown are visible to your team only. The client sees one number — the final price — on their itinerary and PDF.
That means you can be as detailed as you like here without worrying about what it looks like from the outside.
What you set
- Currency — the trip currency you enter costs in.
- Company Markup (%) — your margin. It applies across the booked sections.
- Agent Commission (%) — commission on top, where it applies.
- Inclusions and Exclusions — what the price does and doesn't cover.
- Other expenses — ad-hoc charges that don't belong to Stays, Transport, Visits or Tickets: visa fees, tipping pools, travel insurance, guide gratuity. The same markup applies as the booked sections.
The breakdown
Below that, Cost breakdown · internal builds the headline figure from your per-section costs:
Accommodation, Transport, Visits & experiences, Flights & tickets and Other expenses add up to a Supplier subtotal. Your Company markup goes on top to give a Client subtotal (pre-tax), and then a Grand total.
It updates live as you edit, so it never falls out of sync with the preview underneath.
How do I quote in the client's currency?
You enter costs in your trip currency. If the client thinks in another one, set a Customer currency under Client display and Niti converts the totals for the preview and the PDF. Your internal figures stay in the trip currency.
Tips
- Set the markup before you add costs. Everything recalculates as you go, so you'll see the real client price the whole way through.
- Use Inclusions and Exclusions properly. They're the two fields that prevent most awkward conversations later.
