Adding stays

Put the hotels, villas and resorts into the itinerary, with rooms and rates.

Updated

Stays is where accommodation lives — everywhere the client sleeps. It's the first of the builder's six steps, and usually the one that anchors everything else, since the rest of the trip tends to arrange itself around where people are staying each night.

Add a stay

Open the Stays section and click Add a stay. Each stay needs:

  • Stay Period — the check-in and check-out dates. Niti works out the number of nights from these.
  • Property — start typing and search for the hotel or property.

Then fill in Rooms & rates. It starts empty with No room types added yet — click Add to add a room type and its rate. A stay can hold several room types, which is what you want when a group is split across a double and two twins.

Extras on a stay

Two optional additions sit under each stay:

  • Add expense — a charge tied to this stay that isn't part of the room rate, such as an early check-in fee or a set dinner.
  • Add notes / special instructions — anything the property needs to know, like a late arrival or an anniversary.

Use Add another stay for each subsequent property, and repeat until every night of the trip is covered.

Tips

  • Work in date order. It makes the gaps obvious — if there's a night with no stay against it, you'll spot it straight away.
  • Room rates you enter here feed the Accommodation line of the cost breakdown on the Costing section, so nothing needs re-entering later.
