Everything the client does on a day lives in Visits: the temples, viewpoints and towns they wander through, and the guided walks, hikes, safaris and classes you book with a provider. One row per visit.
How do I add a visit?
In Visits, click Add a visit:
- What — leave it on Visit for a place they simply go and see. For an experience, pick the type: Hiking, Walking tour, Cooking class, Wildlife safari… Type your own label if nothing fits ("Pub crawl"); it joins your own list after you use it twice.
- Where — search for the place or the town. A temple or a rock gives you the card, photo and pin; a town gives you the pin at its centre. Every visit needs a Where.
- Date · Time — pick the day and the time of day.
- Optional extra — tick it when the client can take this at their own cost. The rate shows as an indicative price and stays out of your total.
The title writes itself: "Sri Dalada Maligawa" for a visit, "Hiking at Ella Rock" for an experience. Type over it in Title when it reads badly.
Provider, tickets, stops
Under the row, the + chips add only what the visit has:
- + Provider & booking — the operator, Rate Type (Per Person multiplies by the group, Fixed is one charge), the rate, duration and booking status. This is what makes a visit an experience you are paying someone for.
- + Add expense — an entrance fee, a guide, a permit. A visit with an entrance fee is still a plain visit; put the fee here.
- + Stops — the places inside one packaged tour with one price (a city tour). Independent visits are separate rows.
- + Writeup — your own words about the visit; Niti turns them into a client-ready description. An experience shows this straight away; a plain visit uses the place's own description unless you add one.
Tips
- The Supplier Total Cost on the row is the provider rate converted into your trip currency plus the expenses on the row. Markups are applied in Costing.
- The cost breakdown shows one Visits & experiences line: provider rates plus tickets, with optional extras left out.
